Winter: bigger swells
From autumn through early spring, the Atlantic tends to send larger swells. Experienced surfers often look for these months. If you are a beginner, you can still surf, and your instructor will choose a spot and a session that suit your level on the day.
Spring and summer: smaller, gentler waves
Smaller waves usually make learning easier, which is why many beginners choose spring and summer for their first surf holiday in Morocco.
